My New Best Friend
Meat Copper my new best friend after loosing my yellow lab (read my blog to learn about her) to what I now know was bad dog food. Back then I knew nothing about dog food recall alerts and didn't even think that the pet food industry would sell toxic waste as pet food.
Copper is a six year old beagle and he just started to have seizures not to long ago. While doing research on the Internet about what causes seizures I food out about the ugly secrets of the pet food industry.
It is unbelievable that they would put profits over the health of our pets, but that is exactly what they do.

After hundreds of hours of research I swore that I would devote my life to warning every pet owner of the dangers of commercially made pet food.
That is why I started this site and I will continue to update it on the blog page with any new information that I find.
Right now it has become obvious to me that the only way to feed Copper safely is to make our own food. This is a learning process, because I know I need to provide for him all the nutrients he needs with any food we prepare.
I will post what I learn so that to make it easier for anyone that wants to do the same.
